Our Mission and Values
At Little Raccoons, we place great emphasis on creativity and self-expression. This is because we believe that early learning should be a happy and fun experience, making the transition from home to nursery as effortless as possible.
Our staff are dedicated to nurturing the child's natural inclination to explore and discover the world around them, ensuring that the children develop their curiosity through a combination of work and co-operative play.
Throughout this process, we encourage our children to interact with their peers in a thoughtful, kind and considerate manner, so that they are equipped to work well alongside one another in preparation for mainstream school.
Our times & sessions
We are open 51 weeks of the year. Closed during the week that Christmas falls on.
Please note Christmas closure for 2025/2026:
- Last day of nursery will be Wednesday 24th December 2025 (please check with your nursery manager for early closure times)
- Closed from Thursday 25th December 2025 to Thursday 1st January 2026
- Nursery will reopen on Friday 2nd January 2026.
We operate between the hours of 7.30am to 6.30pm.
In order to provide you with the greatest flexibility, we offer your child the opportunity to attend.
Morning Sessions:
Drop off: from 7.30am
Collection: 12.30pm
Afternoon Sessions:
Drop off: 1.30pm
Collection: 6.30pm
Pre-school Sessions:
Drop off: from 8.45am
Collection: 3.45pm
Full Day Sessions:
Drop off: from 7.30am
Collection: 6.30pm
