When should I register my child?

You should aim to register your child at your chosen nursery as soon after your visit as possible to aviod disappointment.  If you are planning on returning to work after 12 months of giving birth - it would be ideal to start looking and register your child when they are 2/3 months old.

01

How do I register my child?

All registration forms are now completed using Docusign, making it simplier for parents to complete.

Please book a visit with the nursery and once you have made your decision ask the Manager to send you the Registration Form.

You will need to pay the registration fees and deposit to secure your child's place.

02

How many days does my child need to attend?

We have a minimum requirement of 2 full days or 4 sessions. This is in place so that your child gets the best out of their nursery experience.

03

Is food provided for children?

All of our nurseries have food cooked fresh on the day by a qualified chef, taking into account of children's dietary requirements and allergies.

Please note that we do not cater to Halal or Kosher.

04

Government Funded Hours

We accept government funded hours for all children over the age of 9 months old - if the parents are eligible for funding.

Please note funding is termly - this means that your child has to be 9 months old before the start of each term for them to be eligible for funding.

More information can be found online www.childcarechoices.co.uk

05

How does stretch funding work?

All of our nurseries open throughout the year so we offer stretch funding through the year.

What this means for you - as all eligible parents can access 30 hours per week funding term time. This equates to 22 hours funding per week (10 hours per day is maximum allowed).

If you have 15 hours per week this equates to 11 hours per week (10 hours per day maximum allowed)

06

What if there is an emergency and you need to reach me?

We ask that parents provide the nursery with Emergency contact details on their enrolment forms that is not Mum or Dad.

This is in case we cannot get hold of you and there is an emergency at the nursery. It must be someone with a UK phone number.

07

What is the settling in process?

We offer settling in sessions for your child if they are new to nursery. This is usually one week before they start nursery. We offer up to 3 settling in sessions, starting with one hour and up to 3 hours.

This process has been effective for us to help your child bond with staff and get to know the nursery and it's environment.
