Please note we are introducing two Inset days in 2025. 

 

Friday 28th March - all day

Friday 26th September - all day

 

Inset days are scheduled twice a year to support staff development and training.

 

The nursery is committed to enhancing the quality of childcare by providing its staff with ongoing opportunities for professional growth.

 

These days are crucial for ensuring that our employees’ skills and knowledge remain up-to-date with current best practices

Funded Hours - Transparent Charges

The charges for funded hours only:

 

Under 3’s – Consumable Charge - £17.50 per week (£8.75 a week for half day). Includes all food, drinks, extra curricular activities such as outdoor walks, trips to library etc. gardening, cooking, music classes, special events, extra-curricular, sensory activities, seasonal specialist events & fun days (Halloween, Christmas, Easter etc)

Over 3’s – Food Charge - £8.00 per funded day for Lunch – this includes: breakfast, morning snacks, lunch & dessert. £6.00 per funded day for Tea, this includes afternoon snacks, tea and early evening snacks.

 

These costs allow us to maintain the high standards of provision that families at Little Raccoons Day Nursery expect.
