Nursery Reviews

"My daughter has been at Little Raccoons Day Nursery Holloway for over a year. We are extremely pleased with the care she is given by all the staff there. We have regular updates on her targets and progress via reports and their online portal. She has made lots of friends and really looks forward to nursery. They always have plenty of new activities to engage and educate the children. The staff are always really professional, friendly, supportive and caring. Our daughter loves it and we do to."  April - Holloway

"I haven't used this nursery for long, but what I have experienced is very positive and worth mentioning. I have an eleven-month-old baby, and with Covid-19, it has been difficult to know what childcare option to go for. Compared to other nurseries I investigated, this had a smaller quota of babies, which I wanted, given the issues of being in contact with others. The nursery uses a portal you log into, so you know what and when your baby eats, nappy changes and sleep times. They also post photos of activities. This is useful for me as I write stuff down anyway, so I have a record of my babies sleeping and eating. The staff at the nursery have been very nice, approachable and open. Upon first speaking to the nursery, the manager was very open and receptive and not pushy, which is important as a parent who is investigating options. I would recommend this nursery." "The Little Raccoons staff are an extension of our family. They love our boys like they were their own, and they care for them brilliantly - always coming up with fun new ideas for learning and play. We go to work each day without a worry - we know they will be safe and happy at Little Raccoons. We don't know what we would do without them!" December - Coulsdon

"As an Early Years Teacher, I was very selective in my nursery choice. Sending my 12-month-old to nursery full time was terrifying for me and having 'strangers' look after my baby daughter made me very nervous. Right from the beginning, the manager and her lovely team was nothing short of amazing, and
I don't say that lightly.
I couldn't have been happier with how my baby was welcomed each morning, taken care of, needs met and how wonderful, I as a parent, was treated, and it wasn't for show!
Little Raccoons Day Nursery Finchley is a very special nursery with wonderful, kind, caring and nurturing staff, an amazing ethos, welcoming smiles, a delightful place for children to grow and develop. I was reassured right from the beginning, and I was never disappointed. A huge thank you for the hugs, smiles, activities and amazing food each day!"

"An absolutely amazing nursery. It has been the most nurturing place for my little boy, who joined aged 14 months, until the age of 2 years. He has loved every minute of his time there. The staff are all amazing and helpful. The food that is provided is home-cooked and wholesome and the activities given
for the kids to do has really helped my sons speech, colour learning and development. Also, the manager is most amazing."

"We have had our daughter in this nursery for a while now. It underwent a full change of staff and management and we have definitely seen a difference. She's evolving so much more now and even if she still cries when we drop her off; she's still very happy to be there! Diversity of activities has flourished and of the kids there.Since change of management we have also noticed that it's been easier to speak to everyone including meeting the owners every now and then. They do take into consideration our requests and try to help when they can!"

"Little Raccoons Day Nursery is a very well equipped, clean, inviting and friendly environment. Our son loved the layout and activities on offer. He was very new to the school and settled in very well as he was comfortable in the environment. The staff that we have had interaction with were very friendly
and knowledgeable about what our son has been doing, eating, how he has been feeling etc throughout his time at the school."

"The baby team and in fact, all staff including the new manager at Little Raccoons Apsley are just wonderful. They show a genuine warmth towards my baby girl and they have quickly banished my anxiety at leaving my little one aged 7 months in their care. Now at nearly 12 months she is settled, happy and
loves nursery."  September - Apsley

"
Little Raccoons is such a lovely nursery and my daughter is so happy there. The staff are wonderful and caring - it's like a little family. The staff always do new activities and at the end of each day always take the time to go through my daughter's day with me. The facilities and outdoor area are great
and my daughter loves the food! Would definitely recommend!" September - Apsley

"We really like the fact that the carers are so involved and full of energy daily for the children, something that we aspire to having when we are with TD. Its tough being energetic for several hours of the day and to care for the little ones. TD is really growing into her own and we enjoy
watching her development weekly. We also entirely trust them with her at all hours and haven't hesitated ever leaving her on the premise at anytime."  September - Watford

"Both of my sons have thrived at Little Raccoons in Watford. My eldest has just started in reception; I feel that the support he received at the nursery prepared him well for the transition to primary school in developing social skills along with a good foundation of literacy and numeracy. My youngest
still loves going to the nursery and always tells me about the fun activities that they do. The staff have always been fully supportive and very nurturing." September - Watford
